Hey all

My city is doing very well, but I am running into an annoying problem. To increase business and general satisfaction, I need to place some holiday hotels. Problem is, game won't let me place any holiday hotels no matter where I choose, building area stays red. I know you have to avoid pollution areas, and stay within highlighted areas so I do that, and I've also got about 6 or 7 avatar parks to attract tourists. I've got plenty of business hotels, but can't place the holiday ones. Am I doing something wrong?

btw I am using old waterfalls map or something like that, lowest to choose from on Green Plains map

The business hotels are for just that, you only need like 1 for dozens of other buildings that require it. Holiday hotels must be places in a special area to be placed. Adding the avatar parks greens up some of the space around them, so by placing a few you might get enough space to build one. I can't remember if the waterfall maps have tourist locations already. If not, you have to create a space for them that supports it. If you are planning on doing tourism pick a lot for that. If not it is cheaper just to import it.
